Toddler Lead Teacher
Hello to all of our families! My name is Julia Becela and I hold the position of a Teacher in the Toddler Classroom. I was born in downtown Chicago, but shortly after that, my family and I moved to Europe. I spent the first ten years of my life living in Poznan, Poland, where I attended elementary school and learned to speak a foreign language fluently! Before heading into middle school, my family decided to make the move back to the U.S. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and I now hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern Illinois University. During my free time, I enjoy staying active by hiking, running, walking my dogs, rollerblading and practicing yoga! Most of my professional experience consists of working with children, such as; babysitting, leading before and after school programs, assisting in preschool classrooms, coaching youth sports teams and working summer camp programs. I am passionate about working one-on-one with your child, fulfilling art crafts and science activities, as well as, watching your child learn and grow in our classroom environment. I’m looking forward to meeting your family and your owlet!
