Toddler Teacher
Hello parents, my name is Alyssa and I am one of the teachers for the toddlers at Little Nest Care! Here is a little bit about myself! I grew up within the Norwood Park area and currently reside there [Go Cubs!!]. During my free time, I am either hanging out with my family, shopping at Target, or exploring downtown Chicago! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Speech Pathology from Elmhurst College. My passion for working with children started at a very young age with being the oldest sibling of four. Before starting at Little Nest Care, I worked as a Behavioral Therapist for children with Autism and as a Mental Health Counselor at Advocate Children’s Hospital Psychiatric Unit. Recently, I decided that I want to continue my education in Early Childhood Education and Little Nest Care was the perfect place to gain more experience! It is extremely rewarding to help each and every child at Little Nest Care grow and develop through fun and educational activities. Whether it is through art, music, dance, or free play, we are always having a great time learning. I am so happy to be part of Little Nest Care family and continue to help your child grow!
